Here's another pair of 'before and afters'. A lot of water under this bridge for sure. And time too. I started this one in January and it's now March. It's not that I work on them continuously, but more that they hang around in various stages of dress (or undress, depending on how well things are going) and I go back into them with fresher eyes. As I said a while back, I am always working on more than one canvas.I love how this one came out.
I love your work and was just re-reminded of it after seeing a print at a friend's apt (Suzanne Murphy). Your work strikes a chord with me as an emerging painter, exploring my authentic voice. I know it is hiding somewhere in a paint pot, amid scraps of paper as I love combining text and paint so the appeal of your work is strong. Your sense of humour is divine, but you knew that!!
